Registered Nurse (Community Living Center) Kerrville Division
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System is hiring Registered Nurse for our (Kerrville Transitional Care Center) CLC nursing staff.
The ideal candidates will use the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation), and be able to accurately document the care of patients.
You will demonstrate leadership skills in a multidisciplinary setting where the goal of care is to treat each Veteran as individuals.
You will apply advanced knowledge and specialized skills in delivery of care to patients with a variety of simple and complex care needs.
You will be required to establish work priorities and to ensure patient care activities for the nursing team and customer service standards are achieved.
You will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by communicating efficiently and quickly with patients, families, and coworkers.
You will be expected to promote an environment of acceptance and openness through role modeling and instruction of positive communication skills.
The ideal candidates will have the expectation of filling in as charge RN once orientation is completed.
Work Schedule:
Rotating Day, Evening and Night shifts as needed according to the needs of the unit, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
